We had such a great experience at 1 Under Bar & Grill in Livonia, and a huge part of that was Ashley Miller. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel genuinely welcome. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and somehow managed to stay on top of everything while still making every table feel like a priority. It’s rare to find service that leaves such a lasting impression, but Ashley absolutely did. If you’re lucky enough to have Ashley as your server, you’re in for an exceptional experience. She checked on us at just the right times, made fantastic recommendations, and her positive attitude truly elevated our meal. Outstanding customer service like hers is one of the biggest reasons we’ll be coming back. And then there are the Rings… absolutely incredible! They are hands down some of the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, seasoned just right, and served fresh and hot. Every bite was packed with flavor, and they were impossible to stop eating. I’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints! My family and I keep coming back not just for the amazing food, but for the incredible people who make us feel like family. Ashley Miller is our server, and she’s the absolute best! My kids adore her, and we always ask to sit in her section. She remembers all the little things that make our visits special—like my son’s sliders with extra pickles (a non-negotiable 😂) and my daughter’s love affair with the French fries and mac & cheese. I think we may have a future foodie on our hands! The drinks are always fresh, the food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming every single time. The family who owns this restaurant is truly wonderful, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic food, exceptional service, and people who genuinely care about their customers, this is it. We can’t recommend it enough!

What a fantastic bar! We come here all the time, and it never disappoints. The beer selection is excellent, the atmosphere is always fun and welcoming, and the staff are absolutely incredible. If you’re looking for food recommendations, the Firecracker Chicken Pizza is a must-try, and the chicken wings are some of the best around. A special shoutout to our favorite server, Ashley. She always goes above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. Her friendly attitude and outstanding service keep us coming back. We highly recommend this place!

I had such a great experience here! The atmosphere was fun, the drinks were amazing, and everything felt really welcoming. What truly made the night stand out though was our server, Ally H. She was so attentive, friendly, and on top of everything the entire time. You can tell she genuinely cares about giving great service and making sure everyone has a good time. She checked in at all the right moments and made awesome recommendations too. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope to have Ally again!

Where to lunch today? Here. Big place. I can only imagine what it must look like during a golf weekend or a big sporting event. But today, after typical lunch hours, it's fairly vacant and quiet. The woman behind the bar was fun, upbeat, jovial, professional, good-natured & patient. The beer list is unexpectedly extensive and covers a lot of styles and includes many local breweries & cideries. I was surprised to see not just one, but three different Goose Island BCBS offerings. Big, chewy, once-a-year releases don't normally show up at sports bars. But I needed food. After looking over the menu & seeing a Cuban sandwich, I went with it, though, honestly, I was not expecting to get a true Cuban sandwich, I was after the flavor profile. And that is what I got, a tasty sandwich that was familiar in flavors but not a real Cuban sandwich, more of a Media Noche variant. Pedantic, I know, but true. (I have resigned myself to the reality that no one in MI makes a REAL Cuban sandwich. 😔) With a load of kettle chips and a big, cold glass of agua, I was set. There is a lot of seating. High-tops, low-tops, outdoors for more pleasant weather.
